Scouting, where the adventure begins!
Troop 209B is a member of the Sky Islands District in the Catalina Council⏤Tucson, Arizona. We meet every Monday (except holidays and/or special events) from 7pm to 8:30pm at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Troop 209 was founded in 1995; we celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2020! Troop 209 is led by the senior Scouts with advisement coming from our Scoutmaster and assistants. We have a Scouting committee that oversees troop business and activities to support the youth and Scoutmaster. Parents make up the committee that meets monthly on the 4th Monday during the usual Troop meeting, and the parent meetings are on the 1st Monday.
Dues are approximately $80/a year, payable biannually. We currently do annual fundraising⏤as a Troop by selling popcorn as well as other periodic fundraising events. Troop 209 has held both the Quality Unit since 1997 & Journey to Excellence Awards since 2011.
Scoutbook is used for advancement, awards, and the activities calendar. See Scoutbook>Events calendar for troop activities dates and additional information.
